La revista Hospitality Design Magazine entrevista a Bernardo Fort-Brescia y "La huella duradera de Arquitectonica en Miami y el escenario global"
Hospitality Design recently spoke with Founding Principal and Co-Founder, Bernardo Fort-Brescia about how Arquitectonica came to be, what those early years felt like, and how the firm gradually found its voice in a changing Miami. He recalls starting the practice during a difficult economic moment and the sense of determination that pushed the young team forward. “We wanted to create something different from what we saw around us,” he says, looking back at the ideas that shaped the firm’s first notable works — including the now-familiar Atlantis Condominium — and the emerging style that set Arquitectonica apart.
The conversation also touches on how the practice has grown far beyond its Miami roots. Nearly fifty years later, Arquitectonica's work reaches cities around the world and spans a wide mix of building types, from residential and hospitality projects to civic and cultural landmarks. Fort-Brescia reflects on the mindset that continues to guide the firm: architecture should respond to its place, but also bring a sense of curiosity and invention to each project.
